Hello everyone. I have just completed my 4. Annual review and so glad that it has been going smoothly for the last 4 years. I have 20 more months to go and will be free, finally :)
Last year when HMRC added £20 on top of tax credits it did not affected the Iva and stepchange did not ask to increase my payments and been told it’s mine to keep.
I have just received £500 c19 pay from HMRC and I am not sure if it’s still the case or do I need to pay some of this sum towards my IVA?

You will need to check with StepChange, but I would hope that they treat it the same as the monthly addition it is replacing as this is a benefit to assist with coping with the pandemic, rather than paying to creditors.

StepChange are generally pretty laid back about such things, but best to check.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

I have just spoken to stepchange and they’ve confirmed that it’s mine to keep. They only made a note that I have called and confirmed that I have received it and been told to keep it.
Therefore if anyone wondering, the HMRC payment is ours to keep :)
