I am being asked for a completion certificate for my IVA that i received over 10 years ago. I no longer have it, how, if at all, can i get a copy? I have PPI owing to me and the company wont release it until I have proof Ive completed the IVA they were involved in. Any suggestions?

The Insolvency Service might have archived a copy. Who were you with ?

Other than that the fact that you are no longer on the Insolvency Register should tip them off as well as their own records.

I might add that your former IP might well resurface too, as PPI refunds still belong to the former creditors, via the IP, even after closure.

Personally ..I would forgo the PPI as foggy says technically it is all due to your creditors so you may find you won't get it anyway if you start asking for copies of completion certificate

You might also find you are out of pocket if you used a firm to do this as they will charge fees.
