How likely am I to get a mortgage when IVA comes of file

how likely am I to get a mortgage when my IVA comes off my file in November 2023 - and be able to have a low deposit

It is certainly possible and more so if you consult a specialist broker with experience of working for those with an IVA in their past. Obviously, the longer you can wait and the higher the deposit the better the chances and the interest rate.

Definitely worth exploring now so you are aware of what level of deposit you are likely to need.

We have used Ryan in the past and he comes highly recommended.

Hey sam735,
Keeep going, you will get through this and there is light at the end of the tunnel.
I cannot predict the future, but if your IVA came off your file today, and the credit file is all clean since the IVA i belive i could get you a mortgage with only a 5% deposit.
