Hi, I'm currently in a IVA it started in November 2014 with Payplan, my debt was for £13,128 to date I have paid £10,560 I'm in arrears for £1,328 for extra income I earned on my P60. I have offered £3,000 for a F&F. I submitted all the information on the 16th April with a letter from my friend who's offering the money and haven't heard anything from them since. I've called and asked and they've said its with the variation team now and they are writing my proposal up. Am I right that they should have the proposals written up within 21 days and sent out to myself to sign and return? It just seems to take ages and I've seen on here about peoples F&F taking 6 months. my questions are: is there anyway I can get this sped up? as I'm making additional payments into it at £300 per month so they are going to get a lot more money. and what is the likelihood of this getting accepted?

They have 21 days to present the variation from when thery have everything they require ... it is easy for them to delay this by requiring something else or losing something they have already ---- there is little you can do about it.
You could try amending your offer to stipulate that any payments made after a given date are to be deducted from the lump sum offered. However, at this stage they will huff and puff and delay even further!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Look at your proposal T&C's - highly likely that they only have 21 days to call the variation meeting so you are probably right to make a complaint.
