Hi Zoe and welcome to the Forum.
It really depends on how quickly you provide the information. Creditors must be given at least 16 days notice so anywhere from four to six weeks is reasonable.

Provide your IP with statements, wage slips, rent agreement, mortgage statement etc and the job will be done very quickly.

It does vary as Michael states.
In my opinion if you can provide all the paperwork needed, and your case is fairly straight forward and does not require a face to face meeting, the IVA can be through from start to finish in 4-6 weeks, however not all companies are as fast as Michaels and the average is 8-12 weeks.
