My husband and I are currently in 6th year of our IVA due to equity release and have 11 months remaining.
Our circumstances have changed and we contacted Aperture in May in regards to offering a full and final figure (to the total of the monthly payments remaining) with help from a relative. After some delay in response from Aperture we sent the necessary documentation on 1st July.
We have still had no news from them and does anyone know how long this process takes for Aperture to put in place the variation meeting?
We needed this sorting before November and we are not sure this will happen.
Are we bring inpatient, or can we push aperture to set a date for the creditors meeting?

Firms usually take around 6 - 8 weeks to present a variation to creditors, but i am afraid that Aperture is one of the slower horses in the race !
As annoying as it is, I suspect, pushing for speed will be counter-productive, but I would suggest giving them a call and enquiring where they are in the process.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
