Hi and welcome to the forum.

Is your joint bank account one of your creditors? If so then you need to change banks straight away. The Co-op come highly recommended.

If you have any joint debts then your husbands credit record will probably be affected and he will be chased for the whole of the debt.

I recommend that you take professional advice. Visit www.iva.com for a list of companies and reviews. Give one or two a ring and you will receive free and impartial advice.

Is your husband aware of your current financial situation and intention to propose and IVA? If so, does he support you in this?
