I signed the proposal but nothing was finalised in the meeting with the creditors and I cancelled at this point.
Are there any further legal implications and will I still have a negative credit rating?

If your creditors meeting went ahead and your creditors approved the proposal before it is a "sealed deal" you should be asked to sign and return the chairmans report.

Can I ask why you are cancelling it after the creditors meeting ? Have your financial circumstances changed for the better ?

On what grounds and how did you cancel ? Did you get any acknowledgement ? When was this ?

Are you still living overseas? Do you plan to move back to the UK?
