Do you mean will Barclays freeze your bank account if you renege on the Barclaycard debt ? They shouldn't do as Barclaycard is run by a different company. However, if you enter an IVA they might downgrade your current account to the basic account ( no overdraft and limited debit card usage).

However, if this is your only debt an IVA seems a heavy handed way to deal with it. How much is this debt ?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

I had a Barclaycard which was included and also a full bank account with cheque book and debit card. I had no problem keeping it going.
