I have a mortgage with Northern Rock with a unsecured and secured loan included I also have debt elsewhere of a personal loan and 3 credit cards totalling £34000. I want to do an IVA I am upto date with all my payments but do I have to include the unsecured element of mortgage in my IVA ? I really want to keep my mortgage separate from this can you help with some advise im currently seeking help with debt free direct but I didnt give them the details of my unsecured loan in my conversation yesterday.
I'm afraid the unsecured element will have to be included in your IVA.
I would speak to one or two companies. Visit www.iva.com for a list of companies and reviews. Give one or two a ring to get free and impartial advice.

Hi Justine a good link provided by Kallis and we also have some professional posters who come highly recommended, give 2 or 3 a ring and get some all important case specific advice.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
I also had a mortgage with Northern Roack and an unsecured loan with them. The unsecured loan has to go into the IVA but it wasnt a problem and was sorted out easily.
As previously stated the unsecured element of the loan from Northern Rock will need to be included in any IVA.
Be cautious about who you select to handle your IVA. Northern Rock have been known to apply very strict criteria for IVA acceptance and you will want an IP that fully understands them. Melanie Giles who posts on this forum was worked with Northern Rock on many cases in the past so could be a good starting point.
