I have an IVA in place, I have been out of work so dropped behind twoths paying £110 per mth, I have rang the company I have the IVA with and explai ed I am a foster carer and they want a new income and expenditure my problem is I cant use my fostering allowance in the equation because its for the boy I care for but if I only put my benefits through it looks like I van afford the repayments but if I include it my disposable income is more tjan £110 a mth, they are putting me under so much pressure I dont know what to do!!

First -- do not miss any more payments without agreeing a payment break with your IP --- the IVA will fail if you do.

The fostering allowance is income and has to be declared -- the IP should then offset most of this by what is actually spent on the child (there is a small element of income). So your allowances will be higher to account for looking after the child. If you are being pressurized by the call staff, ask to speak direct to the IP.

Agree with Foggy - contact your IP and have a word about your circumstances.
