I know I qualify for an iva but for about 2 months I have been using betfred to play a couple of online games, and this shows on my bank statements will I still be eligible
As regards the betting, is this just a 'one off' period? It will depend on how much you are spenging on there, we all have a flutter on the lottery occasionally.

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

Hi suzanne.tz,
I used to play the Irish lottery online via a William Hill account, my proposal writer picked up on the withdrawals on my bank statement and asked what they were. I just explained and that was that, it was only a tenner every so often though.

Hi Suzanne and welcome to the forum. I would talk to 2 or 3 IP's and explain your situation in full, they will give you case specific advice on all debt solutions and there will be a solution for you and I wouldn't worry about the online betting for now, take the advice you need from a professional in the first instance. xx
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
It woudn't be a problem if I were acting for you - so long as you reassured me that this was merely a temporary problem and you would not gamble excessively in the furure.
A modest flutter every now and again is harmless, so long as it does not affect your ability to make your payments and that you appreciate that any gambling wins will have to be paid into the IVA.
