I have got myself in to a mess with pay day loans. Please help. I'm a new mum of two on maternity leave I am so stressed and worried.

Do you help with pay day loans

Hi. Much will depend upon your circumstances and the size of the debts and I would suggest a chat with one or two insolvency firms to see the best way forward. There are a couple who post on here regularly as well, of course, as the forum sponsors, Vincent Bond (Number on the top right).

Making that first call isn't easy but, believe me ( I have been there) it is far easier than struggling to juggle with creditors.

I agree with Foggy - please speak to someone who may be able to help. If you have no assets and your DI is less than £50 a month, a Debt Relief Order could be an option.

You should consider cancelling your debit card or even opening a new bank account to protect your money. At least you can then make a decision what to do going forward without the payday loan companies grabbing any wages or benefits paid into your bank. An insolvency firm would be able to advise you about all your options and help you get back on track.
