I have recently completed my Legal Practice and I am now working as a paralegal. I cant afford to pay back my loans (in the region of £50,000)but I need to know how an IVA could affect my career and current job?
You will probably need to check your individual terms and conditions of employment, but I would doubt that an IVA would affect your position as a paralegal.
With a future career in the law, however, and if you have ambitions to take your studies further - perhaps to train to become a solicitor, then it would be wise to now get your debts sorted out and to make a fresh start.
