I inherited my mothers home when she died last year I am in the 4 year of an Iva interlocked with my husbands debts the house is worth 150000 there is no mortgage or secured loans on the property my Iva company know about my inheritance I would like to get an equity release me and my husband owe just short of £44000 how much would I have to release from the equity

You would probably have to release enough to cover the full original debt, plus fees and possible statutory interest.

What was the original debt?

How much assets have been paid in since the start of the IVAs?

(Look at the receipts and payments in the latest Annual progress report you got from your IP)

Also look at their outstanding costs disclosed in the report.

I can then give you a very rough estimate as to what might be required.
