I paid my IVA over 5 years and received my completion certificate it's been 6 months and my old debt still shows on my credit report saying I still owe them money and each month it says missed payments
Is this right ? Does the debt stay on my report for 6 years ?
Each month my credit rating goes down

Your credit record will be shot for 6 years from the start date of the IVA, and 6 years from the date of each default (which should be the start of the IVA also). Have a read here: https://www.iva.co.uk/what-does-an-iva- ... dit-record
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

You might find this quick video I made about cleaning up your credit record useful:

Noddle, Clearscore and Totally Money are also free credit agencies to consider using:

Your credit score should improve at the 6 year point when everything should fall off the reports. For mortgages the fact that the 3 credit reports are clear and up to date is more important for us than the actual credit score though.
