It would seem that people have different anecdotes of creditor harrasment from particular creditors. I guess this would indicate that the level of liability to certain creditors dictates the level of `chasing`???

I don't think that there is anything as sophisticated as that Goosed. Some creditors will chase vigorously, others will rely on the information provided by their customers and the IP represaenting them and take a sensible stance - ie to wait until the IVA proposals are ready.
Definitely not - Barclaycard was one of my smaller debts and they were merciless and yet Lombard Direct, who were a large creditor, after an initial phone call where they were very polite, never bothered me at all.

Ah yes, Barclaycard...Every day there are at least 5 missed calls listed on my phone and a couple of automated messages from them, and I answered a call of them a few weeks ago and explained all...They even said I wouldn`t be contacted again until June 6th, God knows how many calls they`ll be making when they `start contacting` me again?
They are one of my biggest debts, that`s why I was wondering.
