If debt isn't on my credit file, does that mean it has been written off?

I have reached the end of year 5 of my IVA however my creditors originally voted on my IVA being 6 years rather than 5, so I potentially at this stage have another 2 years (including the year extra that I'll have to remain since my mortgage company will not cover the outstanding debt). I regularly keep an eye on my credit file and recently I have been surprised to see that the 2 largest creditors in my IVA have removed their loan accounts from my credit file. Johnson Geddes are my IVA people and they weren't aware of any of it so what does this mean for my IVA? If these balances have been removed from my credit file, do I still owe them anything or have they already written off the debt?

The debts are usually defaulted on the date of the IVA starting and, in that case, will dissappear 6 years from the date of default. Removal from your credit files does not alter any debt in itself.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
