if I claim csa off my soon to be ex husband will all the money be taken off me towards my iva? I know new legislation came in on 12th april this year about benefits and CSA maintainance but didnt know if it applied to people with an iva.He hasnt paid any maintainance since he left in 2009 and has an iva himself which I understand he has told them he is paying me a volentary amount of £200. He has also told our 7 year old he is not living in his one room shared accomodation just goes back to fetch his post but is infact living with his partner who is a school teacher. not told iva that either.I am so angry as I am a student nurse having to buy everything for our daughter while he dictates to me when he sees her.I have an iva and have declared everything to them and sent reciepts etc. I know twice now he hasnt even paid his iva. I feel like reporting him but then think of my daughter in all this mess. He is living a lifestyle that doesnt match his salary if you know what I mean.I asked for £50 a month off him that was all and I havent seen a penny.

Your CSA monies received from your ex-husband will need to be declared to your IP and used for the purpose of calculating your disposable income.
