I’m in an IVA can some one take me to small claims for something unrelated. I’m a trade and it’s a customer that I have fallen out with I have contested it, but now I’m in IVA so does this mean a court can’t ask me for money. Even though I believe they won’t as I feel I have a very strong case. Should I inform the SCC now to save time

I would suggest a chat with your IP. As this is an unrelated matter and, presumably, started after the IVA was put in place a new CCJ could be awarded. As far as I am aware the IVA will only protect you from most existing CCJs ( at the time the IVA is put in place) and creditors included in the IVA. But, of course, this is just a guess on my part.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
