I have heard of this before and some IP's will support a second IVA application - it's a shame your friend finds themselves in the same position again - let's hope someone can support them!

Theres no reason your friend couldnt apply for another IVA. Although, questions may be asked as to why your friend needs another.
How long is it since the last one completed?

I've read on here that people sometimes get a 2nd IVA approved, sometimes circumstances can be cruel and we are forced into a situation who knows but whatever the reason I hope it's a successful application if that's what s/he wants. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I've acted for a few people who are second time around - but clearly you would have to demonstrate good reasons for being in debt all over again.
