We currently rent our home, but if I undertake an IVA can we be forced to move if the rent we currently pay is considered to high?

Hi Ian and welcome to the forum.

I don't think anyone can force you to move, a good IP will go through your Income and Expenditure with you and offer advice as necessary.

Have you spoken to any companies yet?

If not ensure you speak to 2 or 3 to get impartial free advice specific to you.

A good starting point is www.iva.com and again all our professionals from the forum come highly recommended too. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi
No one can force you to move however creditors may decline an IVA given that you could rent for less and free up some disposable income.
