If you are indebted to a bank and then that bank who you owe money to buys your bank, does the money in that account get frozen and recovered by them. As Santander is buying rbs and NatWest both who I owe money to.

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

You are banking with Santander but have debts with RBS and Natwest ?
Your money in Santander will be safe
