im a student with 9,000 debt this does not include my student loans would i be able to get a iva

Hi Bryan,

With that level of debt you would be unlikely to get an IVA. Your student loan wouldn't be covered either.

If you have no assets and less than £50 a month disposable income after your priority bills have been paid, you could consider a debt relief order, or if you are working part time a debt management plan might be an option.

I would speak to a professional. Visit www.iva.com for a list of companies and reviews. Give one or two a ring and you will receive free and impartial advice.
