If you have an Iva, and then get a debt collection agency visiting you, to make you pay a fine by setting up a direct debit, is it then possible to get the amount included in the ia

Depends on what the fine is for and when it was incurred as to whether it will be considered. Then it will depend on the amounts involved and how it might affect the overall dividend. Have a word with your IP. If it isn't included it may be possible to agree a payment break to allow you to pay the fine. Breaks will be added back on at the end.

What sort of fine is it?
