I have 1 payment left to pay .. I am expecting a inheritence due to me obviously I told my case worker back along as it has taken along time to recieve this but now I have only one payment to pay they have told me they can still take the pennies when I recieve them even though I would have finished my 5yrs??

I believe I read something like this before, correct me anyone if I’m wrong.. but I believe they can take some of it because it’s been happening while in your iva unsure it’s 50/50 to you and your IP.

Yes they can as you knew about it during the IVA. They can take enough to pay off your original total debt plus fees and possible statutory interest. Anything left after that will be yrs.

As has been said -- you became the beneficiary of the inheritance during the IVA, even though you actually getting the inheritance might be well after the arrangement has completed (same principle as PPI ).
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
