I have debts of around £12000, I've had an iva for 3 & half years now & have paid £9000 off so far, I have nearly £6000 left to pay off my iva & I've just got inheritance of around £12000, would I just pay them the £6000 I still owe or would I have to pay them the whole £12000 of my inheritance?

If that £6k you mention includes fees etc., then you will only need to pay over that amount required to pay off the original debt, plus fees and possible statutory interest.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

All of it will have to be paid over until the total debts, interest and cost have been paid in full I'm afraid.
