Just had a letter from Marks and Spencer stating,

" as part of the IVA process, you or your representative must apply for an interim order from the court. Once the order has been granted creditors are prohibited from commencing or continuing debt recovery proceedings against you. Until the order is obtained, you are obliged to maintain all payments to your account"

I will obviously contact my IP in the morning, but I've not heard of this before. Should I be worried, or is this just a standard letter?

I do worry about things like this, so hopefully you can set my mind at rest so that I can sleep tonight!
Thank you
Lou

Your IP does not have to apply for an interim order. I believe that your IP only has to do anything if your creditors have started proceedings against you.

You contact your chosen IP tomorrow and speak to them about it, but it's nothing to worry about.

They are only about 6 years out of date with that letter!

How bad that they are sending it out though and worrying people unnecessarily?

That isn't good practice is it? Might be worth telling them (or maybe that would just be me) that they're 6 years out of date!x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I think I'd be on the phone once I'd checked it out as well.

Perhaps someone found an old stock of letters and decided to save the company some money by using them![:)]
