Is £2400 PCM totally unacceptable rent?

Is £2400 PCM a totally unacceptable amount for rent.
We are going to try and have it reduced. But can't be sure the landlords will go for it. They are very accommodating....

As mentioned in previous posts, we have not applied yet and just putting feelers out before we sink..

It depends where you live and the size of house, I know some places in Bath are charging 4K-5K pm for rent, although that is the upper end of the market.

It may well come down to how much of a proportion of your income is going on rent,and whether you could rent cheaper to free up more for creditors.

Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.
