Is an IVA in a sole name or joint? My husband and I have credit cards and loans in our sole names which we can not service, does this mean we will each have to take out an IVA?

Hi ruth and welcome to the forum.

You will each take out an Individual arrangement but this can interlocking thus only one payment.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Each case has to be looked at individually and even though you both have debts it is possible one of you can still maintain your credit commitments.

Get some free advice from an insolvency firm as to the best way forward.
