I do that Jan, I need some work shoes and know a cheap pair is no good for me as I walk miles at work and it's proven to be false ecconomy to buy cheap as I replace often. So I went for a walk (after I stormed out) and went to Clarks and they've got some which would be ideal and know last me for a couple of years, it's just finding the initial outlay. Maybe next month!

My work ankle boots are Rieker, bought off Ebay about 4 years ago and still going strong!

So comfy. You could do worse than try Ebay Lesley!

My work shoes have seen better days too, they were not cheap and had them about 10 months.

Nothing seems to last in this job, we do so much fetching and carrying your shoes get trashed quick yet they expect us to pay for them pfffttt.

This was our discussion of the day earlier Luke, hubby buys all his own tools to line the pockets of his boss! They don't even get an allowance towards them, they do supply the van and the running of it, which I guess is something but all tools are his own and they can't be ordinary DIY tools he has to have professional tools. He's gone to see him Mum

Yeah tight bosses like that really get my goat. Wish we could go to other employers who do it right but they know in hard times you will not leave so treat you like rubbish safely knowing you'll stay.

This is why despite asking and presenting evidence I not had a rise in 2 years. Same excuse, 'Oh it's a harsh climate we can't afford it.....yet they paid £5000 to over 50 staff to relocate to a new national office in Wales hmmmmmmm......

We have a houseful at the moment - 5 dogs and six adults! I could quite happily be on my own!

Tomorrow is even more people and I will be glad when Monday is here and they are all gone!
