I have finished my IVA and it has been confirmed I have made my last payment. I was told to cancel the DD in the bank. But they are now asking for a payslip for the final month. I have not worked for the final three months of the IVA but have not missed any payments. Is this a problem

They are trying to confirm the income for the year. You should have a P45 you can show them, which will give them that information. The fact that you weren't working isn't, in itself, a problem ... but they might wonder (and ask) where the money to live on and pay the IVA for those three months came from.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
