I have a joint debt with my ex-wife. A claimant has obtained a CCJ against me only. I am now wholly liable for the debt. The court has told me to sue my ex-wife. Is this a realistic course of action?

Hi Kevin and welcome to the forum

You have always been wholly liable for the debt - and so is your wife. There is no need to sue her yourself - the creditor ought to be doing this.
