I seem to be doubting what I'm reading so please bear with me.

Last payment was last July/August. IVA was with Aperture. Sent mortgage statement in March. Received this email on 22.May.

I've logged onto the website today and seen a download able file which is names Protocol
Compliant Completion Report.

Is this really the end now? I had an amazing feeling getting this email 2 weeks ago.

Thanks in advance for looking

Hello

Congratulations! I am pleased to advise that your IVA successfully completed.

A copy of your Final Report and Certificate of Completion will be issued to you and the Registrar notified of the successful completion of your arrangement. Please allow approximately 2-3 weeks for your final report to reach you.

This is a fantastic achievement and you should be very proud of your efforts and commitment throughout your arrangement.

What happens next?...

Your details will appear on the Insolvency Register for three months following the notification that your case has successfully completed.   Your creditors will update your credit file typically around eight weeks after completion.   Aperture do not have access to do this on your behalf however please do not hesitate to contact us should you experience any difficulty with the updating of your records.Any property restriction will be removed by Land Registry approximately two weeks after completion. I have provided some telephone numbers and website links that may be useful for you at the end of this email.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing Aperture to assist in your IVA journey and to congratulate you on the successful completion of your arrangement.  I wish you the very best for the future.

Should you need any assistance or further information please do not hesitate to contact a member of our Customer Services Team on 03339 397920 or by email ivacustomerservices@aperture.uk.com.

You just need that certificate and that will be that ! Keep several copies (just in case) --- it will not be a 'certificate' as such - just a paragraph on a bit of paper, but it does the job !

Congratulations -- Onward and Upward :-)

That's the one -- whatever the date is on that is your official completion date. As well as hard copies, keep a copy on several places on the computer too ( easier to print out or email if you ever need to.

So it's really done. No comeback? That's amazing. It has been over 6 years now and it's still on the credit reference agencies but assume that will come off in the near future?

Wow!
Yep thats it! All done and youve got your completion certificate!
Enrol in the credit check sites like clearscore and totally money (if not done so already-all free).
Keep eye on your report, make sure all accounts included in IVA are dated accurately so they disappear-if youve not past 6 years already.
Then just watch things improve.
Believe it or not applying for a small limit credit card can help if used responsibly (using credit sensibly improves things more than no credit or not using what youve got).
Anyway, Congratulations on completing your IVA! Onwards and upwards!
Best wishes.

Thanks guys. Don't know why I was doubting it.

Just need to get over the threat of redundancy from my job now.
