Is it right that my Virgin media contract has been cancelled ?

I have just started with an iva and they have cancelled my virgin media contract which I didn't expect at all. Is this right? No one told me I would lose my existing contract.

I have not heard of this happening before. Is it a Virgin policy ? Have you asked why ?

I was with Virgin media and mobile before and during my IVA (still with them), there was never a hint that they would cancel my agreement. In fact we did a phone upgrade during the IVA period without issue as well. Must be a new protocol or maybe someone has got it wrong and made an error thinking you were made BR! Talk to them, you have already lost your service so will not lose out by having a chat with them.
