I've been trying to get hold of a copy of my Certificate of Completion for my records (mine somehow got lost in a house move) and have come up at several dead ends. My IVA was completed in 2010 through Synergi Partners, who don't exist any more. I have been in contact with the court that my IVA went through, but they say they have never dealt with insolvency, so I'm at a total loss as to where to go next. The Insolvency Register has no record of my IVA either. Is my CoC lost forever?

I just want to keep all my records in order - I have pretty much everything else from my IVA except the most important thing - the CoC! I'm also paranoid that it'll come up if, for example, I ever applied for a mortgage and need proof it has been completed (I know it shouldn't happen, but still).
After some digging, I've found out that Synergi were taken over by ClearDebt, so I've reached out to them to see if they can help. I'm also going to look up the guy who was in charge of my IVA at Synergi, and I'm getting in touch with the Insolvency Service to see if they have archived records, thanks to Foggy's reply. Fingers crossed!

Ah, thank you. I got in touch with Cleardebt and got an email back from someone with an Aperture email address, telling me that the person who will deal with my query is out of the office till Tuesday, so hopefully they'll be able to help
