does an iva company or creditors need to see proof that you are ill ? handover are requesting proof of my husband’s heart problems surely thats not right ?

Yes they will need proof (doctors letter I imagine) to make sure that the illness is genuine.

As Kallis says -- they will want to see proof of the condition, it's effects on day to day life and it's seriousness.
