Hi all, well it has now been a full 12 months since I sent my offer of full and final settlement in to BE, to be fair to them it did get better once I managed to speak to someone in the know(ish). I finally managed to get the meeting scheduled for Dec last year, after more postponements it finally took place at the end of January this year (I still continued to make payments up to this point) and the offer I put in 9.2k was accepted! My girlfriend then made the payment over the phone and I was told to expect a 6-8 week wait whilst the creditors were paid their dividend and my completion certificate would be sent out. I was then informed by BE that another company: Grant Thornton would be taking over my account, after a phone call to BE I was told that this would not hinder my situation, I then waited until the end of May and decided to phone BE, however I was put through to Grant Thornton, they didn't even know that my account had been settled and I was waiting for my completion certificate. They have since told me that it may take until September before things are sorted, The point of this post? I don't know really, I suppose it's to vent my fustration. The message I would like to convey is that you should spend a good amount of time researching different IVA providers before settling for anyone, the fact that you are on this website suggests that you are already doing so, but there are a lot of companies making a small fortune by running a shoddy outfit, gaining business from people that are often in extremely stressfull situations.

Congrat Stu287 - you be glad to see the end of this Bl**dy IVA. Hope the certificate should not take that long - I personally would hassle them via email/phone frequently - just to ensure that your not forgotten !! Best of luck anyway.
