I have been reading with interest how a poster (paula) is now so anti IVA..Although be no means rich, Hubby and I have more cash than we have had for years and years thanks to our IVA. We know that our IP charges £350 per hour, but hey so what? he helped us get those rotten calls stopped, we can live on our budget and in just under 5 years we ont have any debts at all so thats worth the hourly rate methinks !![:D]

I've never thought about how much my IP is getting paid, to me whatever the price of an IVA it will always far outweigh what I was going through pre-IVA with juggling money and having no funds to even buy food properly. The stress was lifted immediately I sought advice and realise I wasn't alone as I always thought I was x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Quite agree, my fees are worth it. I know that at the end of the term, I will be debt free.

Nobody said it would be easy and it isnt, but, I know that whatever money is left in the 'kitty' after all else is totally ours, we had our annual review and our IP was more than fair. I have no gripes at all at the mo, cept for the b***** awful weather

Your IP may charge £350 per hour - which is very high - but he will never recover that in IVA work. It's a bit like saying a car is worth £5,000 and then selling it for £500.
