I’m due to have some inheritance.
My partner needs to have an operation for endometriosis and in a lot of pain but the waiting list is very long can I use the windfall to pay for private operation?

You can ask your IP, but I very much doubt that they will agree. That said, you might just catch them at a sympathetic moment, so worth a try.

If there is any surplus after the full original debt and fees (and possible statutory interest) has been settled, this will be yours to do with as you will.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I would suggest, as per your previous thread, that your parents pay for the operation rather than offering a full and final.
