Hi, I have been on my Iva for just over a year, I have just had a letter to defer my student loan (I'm on old style mortgage one), anyway I have just last month had a wage increase with took me over the threshold to defer, I don't think I told the IVA company about my student loan, forgot about it or assumed they'd know about it, does anyone know what the process is with this as obviously I can't afford to start repaying it at present

Thanks

adam

Hmmm ... it should have been disclosed at the start of the IVA and the possibility of having to repay built into the agreement. I don't know the impact this will have now and can only advise a chat with your IP.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
