Hi,

Can any one help? I have applied for IVA last Tuesday. Today when I wanted to log in to my Nationwide account only showed my saving account. My creditors meeting is on 26th of June. Is it normal for the bank to do that?

Thanks

No, it is not normal, but some banks are doing so, noteably HSBC and First Direct. Though I have seen mention of a couple of instances where Nationwide have done this recently. It could simply be that the clerk who prtessed the button is mixing BR and IVA up and has got the wrong end of the stick.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I did not expect that to happen. But I have already opened new bank account with Santander. Will it mean that they are highly likely to accept my IVA proposal? I already had payment plans arranged with all my creditors before going through IVA route.
