Can anybody tell me what happens after last payment of IVA has been made? Mine is due at start of June 2010 but despite constant requests from my IP that they send me a letter confirming that once this payment is made that will be it, I havent received anything and now I am worried about post and email I have received in the past that suggests even after last payment an IVA can still fail

Let the IVA come to its conlusion first, and then ask for confirmation that your responsibilities have concluded. Your IVA will not fail so long as you meet all of the contractual obligations.

Hi Melanie, thanks for your quick response, if only I had the same from my IP!! My concerns are founded on the fact that for the first 4 years of my IVA I was with a company called Accuma, and I never received a statement of affairs form from them to fill out, just a summary of creditors meetings and the impression that all was going well. But now, 3 weeks before my final payment I have received a request for one from Grant Thornton who have taken it over in the last year or so. nothing of any significance has really occured with regard to I and E apart from annual pay rises of 2 - 3 % but its just got me worried now as to why they would ask so close to the end :-S. Can they increase the IVA duration if they desire?

I would not worry - I am sure that GT will want to close your case as soon as they can.
