My IVA was completed in October 2018 and have had nothing from Aperture since that date yet they have now asked for a statement of income etc, some three months later. Is this normal? How does final closure come about? Any help will be valued as am 83 fears of age, in sheltered accommodation and worried that this can go on and on.

It doesn't seem normal and once the IVA is finished you should receive a completion certificate though it can take a few months. Have you tried speaking to Aperture?
You need to start a dialogue with Aperture over this. There may be a bit of crossed communication within the departments as Aperture are renowned for not always getting it right! Speak to them asap otherwise you will just get more frustrated.
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues
This is not normal for most of the industry, but, I am afraid, seems to be "normal" for Aperture ! It takes them a while for the file to be passed to the completions department, who will do a review of the whole term. I am guessing what they have asked for is for the final annual review -- just to check you have had no extra income in the last year. This should have happened much earlier -- but --- this is Aperture !
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
