Hi guys, just got a couple of questions.

First of all I did a one off full and final IVA payment coming up to 3 years ago now, I understand it stays on your record for 6 years, so do you have to wait that full 6 years before you can start rebuilding your credit rating etc. or is there anything I can start doing now to slowly rebuild it?

Also, I work in the insurance industry, will this IVA effect me at all should I need to become registered with the FSA in my own name, do the FSA even ask or do you have to disclose it to them?

Thanks for any help.

Hi, I know if you're paying a mortgage, mobile phone contract or similar it'll be helping with credit rating. I know some of our posters get a credit card Vanquis or similar, high interest rate but so long as it's paid off in full at the end of each month it's not a worry about the rate.

Unsure about the FSA question but one of our professionals will be along soon to answer that.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
