Hi All,

Should I tell my IP about my bonus now or once its cashed ( I get paid by cheque) or even after the meeting,

Just wondering if I tell her now then it might sweeten the deal with the creditors. I wont get the cheque till next week but boss has just confirmed i will be getting £1000 bonus for this year ( do they so the 10% 50/50 on the figure after tax or before?

thanks in advance

Calculations such as the 10% 50/50 rule are carried out on the cash value you actually get in your pocket (so after tax and other deductions). You can't tell your IP what you are getting until you get the cheque and you know what the amount really is after deductions.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Wait until you physically have it but be prepared to only retain the first 10% , then it will be a 50:50 split ... you may get to see about £440 of it if you are lucky !
