Hi. Not really an IVA question, but I had my IVA rejected and so really my only option is to declare bankruptcy. I opened a Co-op basic bank account in preparation for my IVA that I have been using for the past several months. It is now my only bank account. What happens when I submit my bankruptcy application? will i lose access to the Co-Op account? what about the DD's I have set up for rent, utilities, council tax etc Really appreciate any practical advice on what the process involves and what preparations I can make so I can still pay my bills and buy food

Is BR the only solution ? Why was the IVA rejected ? What sort of debt level are we talking ?

The bank account will be frozen to the order of the OR for a short while.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
