Great to hear that this has, finally, been sorted.

A salutory lesson to all of us: Check title deeds a few months after formal completion and chase lifting of the restriction, if needs be. Much too often it gets overlooked by the IVA providers!

Thanks once again to all of you guys on this forum!
Quite shocked how after 3 remortgages later, noone picked up the sale restriction.
Surely as an estate agent, trying to sell/buy a property, u would look at the title deeds to check for these kinds of issues.
this was picked up at the last minute when trying to sell.
My poor conveyancing lady really had no idea how to get his resolved, did it with your guys help & guidance!

In the normal course of a sale it wouldn't be picked up until Office Copies of the title deeds are obtained during the usual searches. Liek you, though, I am surprised it wasn't picked up on the earlier re-financing searches.
