Me and my partner want to open a joint account for the house and pay a certain amount into every month to cover all our expenses. I’m no longer in an Iva but she still is are we allowed to do this or would it be advisable to keep things separate until she’s finished

You can try but a lot of banks will turn you down. You could try the Co-op.

You might be allowed a joint basic account like a cashminder --- but it could slow down your credit recovery as you would then be financially linked to her and would be stained by her IVA, having got rid of yours.

You might be able to do it with monzo, their current accounts can be linked.
