I am waiting for my IVA to go through. I have sent a letter to my bank to take my name off the joint account. However, please can you tell me if our bank would freeze our joint account if my IVA letter is sent to the bank? I have closed my personal account but don’t want to tell them to send the IVA letter if there’s a chance that our bank will freeze our joint account. Please can you advise. The bank is Barclays

Some banks freeze an account in error ( as they would do in BR) but, usually they won't as a matter of course. They are, however, unpredictable.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

We had (and still do) have a joint account with Barclays although they were not a creditor.
